Platter’s Chocolates

Platter’s Chocolates, a fixture of the North Tonawanda community since 1938, had outgrown its Oliver Street location. Working on behalf of Lumber City Development and in partnership with NYS Office of Community Renewal and Empire State Development, The Harrison Studio assisted in securing $300,000 of grant funding to assist this $1.6 million project. The new Platter’s Chocolate Factory, opened in 2016, kickstarted the revitalization of the historic Wurlitzer Building complex from a formerly industrial and warehousing facility to a modern retail and experience attraction including a brewery, restaurant, multiple speciality and craft retailers, and a wedding venue.
